I’m María Rivera, a bilingual pediatric speech‑language pathologist based in Sanford, Florida. I’m passionate about supporting bilingual children as they develop strong speech, language, and early communication skills. Every child is unique, and I work to create a warm, playful, and welcoming environment where families feel supported and children feel confident exploring their communication strengths and challenges. I received my clinical training and credentials as a speech‑language pathologist and have spent years working with children from infancy through school age. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, with a special focus on bilingual language development, articulation, and early intervention. My approach is family‑centered and evidence‑based. I collaborate closely with caregivers to create individualized treatment plans that honor each child’s needs, culture, and home languages. I stay committed to ongoing learning and regularly participate in professional trainings to ensure I’m offering the most current and effective therapy practices. Outside of my work as an SLP, I enjoy creative projects, spending time with family, and exploring ways to make learning fun and accessible for all children. I believe that connection and trust are at the heart of meaningful therapy, and I strive to bring warmth, clarity, and joy into every session.
